General

MicroDeveloper respects the privacy of every individual who visits our Web site or responds to our advertisements. This privacy policy outlines the information collected and how it will be used. This statement will also instruct you on what to do if you do not want your personal information collected or shared when visiting our web site or responding to our advertisements.

Individually Identifiable Information

MicroDeveloper web sites collect personally identifiable information (such as name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address) from web site visitors only when visitors voluntarily provide such information to MicroDeveloper.  If you do not want your individually identifiable information collected, please do not submit it to us.  If MicroDeveloper web site visitors previously provided their e-mail addresses to MicroDeveloper and would like to have their e-mail addresses removed from MicroDeveloper e-mail mailing lists, please send an e-mail message to remove-mail@microdeveloper.com.  MicroDeveloper informs such visitors that we will use reasonable efforts to delete their e-mail addresses from its existing files when requested.  When you do provide us with individually identifiable information, we may use that information in the following ways unless stated otherwise: we may store and process it to better understand your needs and how we can improve our products and services, and we may use it to contact you. MicroDeveloper will not provide personal information or e-mail addresses to third parties.

Additional Privacy Protections for Children (younger than 18) Using the Internet

MicroDeveloper has no intention of collecting any individually identifiable information such as name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address from children.  Accordingly, MicroDeveloper does not target children for collection of information online.  Where appropriate, MicroDeveloper will specifically instruct children not to submit such information on our Web site or in response to advertisements. If a child has provided MicroDeveloper with an e-mail address, MicroDeveloper asks that a parent or guardian of the child contact MicroDeveloper at remove-mail@microdeveloper.com if he or she would like the e-mail address retained within the MicroDeveloper’s e-mail mailing lists.  By default, e-mail addresses submitted by minors are removed from the e-mail list once identified. MicroDeveloper informs customers that we will use reasonable efforts to delete such e-mail addresses from its existing files.

Non-Individually Identifiable Information Collected Automatically

In some cases, we may collect information about you that is not individually identifiable. Examples of this type of information include the type of internet browser you are using, the type of computer operating system you are using, and the domain name of the Web site from which you linked to our site or advertisement.

Information We May Place Automatically On Your Computer's Hard Drive

When you view one of our Web sites or advertisements, we may store some information on your computer. This information will be in the form of a "cookie" or similar file and will help us in many ways. For example, cookies allow us to tailor a Web site or advertisement to better match your interests and preferences. With most Internet browsers, you can erase cookies from your computer hard drive, block all cookies, or receive a warning before a cookie is stored. Please refer to your browser instructions or Help screen to learn more about these functions.  No personal information, any advertising components, 'talk back', or 'spyware' elements are stored in the cookies.

Improper Conduct

MicroDeveloper may use individually identifiable information to investigate and help prevent potentially unlawful activity or activity that threatens the network or otherwise violates the customer agreement for that service.
